This album was dedicated to the memory of Thomas’ mother Doris, who taught him to sing.

Then and Now: Songs of Faith was recorded in 2006 and 2007 after the passing of Thomas’ mother, Doris. Doris was a wonderful soprano, and she and her sisters were well known as The Fannin Sisters. They grew up singing with their father and mother, Orville and Esta. Several of these songs were taught to Thomas by his mother. The original pieces are a testament to Thomas’ evolving faith.
