Teachers Lounge was a cover band formed as a fun project for a High School Talent Show. The original line-up included Linda Duncan, Bass; Todd Elder, Guitar and Vocals; Robb Jarrell, Drums and Vocals; Carol Sheeley, Keyboard and Vocals; and Thomas as the front man/lead singer. Unbeknownst to the band, they gained popularity, and, before they knew it, they were being booked for gigs all over the Louisville Metropolitan Area.
The band was given the opportunity to play at Jefferson County’s Beginning of the Year District-Wide Professional Development for four consecutive years. Below are some videos from the performances in the fall of 2001, captured by a local television station. Linda Duncan was unable to remain in the group and was replaced by Jamison Bowden on bass.
Teachers Lounge are: Jamison Bowden, Bass and Vocals; Todd Elder, Guitar and Vocals; Robb Jarrell, Drums and Vocals; Carol Sheeley, Keyboard and Vocals; Thomas Stafford, Lead Vocals.
This page is lovingly dedicated to the memory of Robb Jarrell. We still miss you big guy!
